Yoga Classes in Kyneton and Castlemaine

What do I need to bring to class at Awaken Yoga Studio?

We have yoga mats and props available for use in the space, but if you want to bring your own you are welcome to. Please wear clothes that you can comfortably move in and BYO water bottle. If you bring your phone into the space please ensure it’s off/ on aeroplane.

I’m a beginner at yoga, can I come to class?

Yes, beginners are very welcome in any class. We are a friendly and encouraging community for wherever you are on your yoga journey. There's a style of yoga for everyone! It's about finding what's right for you. Feeling a bit nervous? Happy to have a chat before you book in a class.

Do I need to book for yoga in Castlemaine and Maldon?

Yes. Class numbers are small in both studio spaces, so you need to book prior to class. You can book your class here. Booking online closes 1 hour prior to class, but if you miss that window and want to attend class, please text Bec on 0428801323 to check if there is space. Online Reiki bookings can be made here.

What do I do if I need to cancel a class with Awaken Yoga Studio?

To cancel class please contact Bec at awaken_yogaandreiki@outlook.com or 0428801323. Class can be refunded or credited, if cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before class. Cancellations less than 24 hours ahead will not be credited or refunded, except in exceptional circumstances (at studio owners discretion). No refunds or class credit for no shows.

What do I need to know for my first yoga class or sound bath?

For your first class please arrive about 10 minutes before start time to fill out a form and have a chat with your friendly facilitators. You can leave your shoes at the door. If you've got particular concerns about injuries and illnesses, please feel free to call or email Bec in advance.

What facilities are available at Awaken Yoga Studio?

There is a bathroom available to use or get changed in if needed. Currently there are no EFTPOS facilities so if you haven’t paid online, cash payment or bank transfer is required.

Why is there no address for Maldon classes on the website?

Classes in Maldon are at a home address. Address is given upon booking via confirmation email.
